The Estadio Monumental to become an Airbnb for one day
The rental platform is offering a unique experience hosted by Gonzalo Montiel.
On May 29, the world champion will act as host for two guests who will have the opportunity to spend the night at the stadium, practice penalties with him, and have breakfast on the pitch the following morning.
The experience will be free of charge, and an additional 11 people will be able to tour the locker rooms and dine there at no cost. Bookings open next Friday, the 15th, at 8:00 AM.
Airbnb has previously converted other stadiums like Wembley, Old Trafford, and Stamford Bridge into accommodations. As an official sponsor of the 2026 World Cup, it will offer a similar experience at the Estadio Azteca prior to the opening match, with the legendary Hugo Sánchez as host.
