Pepsi Revisits Its Best Football Campaigns in New Advertisement
Players Alexia Putellas, Lauren James, Leah Williamson, Caroline Graham, and Farah Jefry star in “Refresh The Game”, with a special appearance by David Beckham.
In the new campaign, the stars of global women’s football travel back in time to revisit iconic soda brand ads, such as one featuring Pelé from 1974, another with Ronaldinho from 2005, and one with David Beckham from 2003. The Englishman makes a cameo in the current spot, dressed as a cowboy just like in the original.
Pepsi’s commercial goal is to focus on women’s football, having recently renewed its sponsorship of the UEFA Women’s Champions League through 2030.
