Rexona, digital sponsor of the Argentine Women's National Team
For the third time in history, the Argentine Women's Team will be present at the World Cup. After observing the World Cup of Germany 2011 and Canada 2015 on television, the national team won their ticket for France 2019 after beating Panama in the play-offs.
This historic event that will be lived in mid-year, is accompanied by a furor for women's football. What once seemed utopian, today is pure reality, and more and more girls are leaving prejudices and dream of becoming professional footballers.
This furor is also accompanied by the help of the brands and by beating the World Cup in France, Rexona became the digital sponsor of the Argentine Women's National Team. In an act held in the offices of AFA, part of the squad that will be in the World Cup was protagonists of the presentation that was in charge of Claudio Tapia (President of AFA); Lucía Barbuto (President of Banfield); Paula López Landívar (Marketing Director of Rexona Argentina) and Paulo Ávila (Manager of Rexona Argentina).
"It makes us very happy to be here sponsoring the girls, who will participate after 12 years in a World Cup. We know they have a lot of potential. We were always on the men's platform, so now we also want to be with the girls. For many, they are references and inspiration today. Hopefully this is one of the first actions in conjunction with the AFA, "said Landivar in the presentation of the agreement.
