Los Angeles Clippers Unveil New Futuristic Stadium for the NBA
After sharing the same court with the Los Angeles Lakers for over 25 years, the California team now has its own home, the “Intuit Dome.”
Construction officially began in September 2021 and cost two billion dollars. The stadium has incredible features, including a capacity for 18,000 spectators, three times more bathrooms than an average NBA arena, a facial recognition system for entry, smart seats with USB connections, a giant 360-degree 4K screen, and 4,000 square meters of space.
The Intuit Dome is already scheduled to host major events in the coming years, including the 2026 NBA All-Star Game and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
The LA team will debut the stadium against the Phoenix Suns on October 23 for the NBA regular season.
