Emirates Unveils Plane with Exterior Design Dedicated to the NBA

 To celebrate the 2024-25 season, the airline has customized its fleet as part of its collaboration with the basketball league, coinciding with the launch of the Emirates NBA Cup, a new sponsored competition.

This design features a gradient in blue tones, along with the iconic NBA logo, accompanied by visual elements celebrating both the league and the airline, such as a basketball bouncing between both logos. Additionally, the plane’s engines showcase a vibrant red color with Emirates’ characteristic white calligraphy.

This is not the first time an airline has partnered with a sports league. Emirates has sponsored major sports entities such as Real Madrid and Arsenal, and has used custom designs on its planes, though this is the first time they have done so with the NBA.
