The most valuable MLS franchises

The renowned financial magazine Forbes analyzed the economic figures of all the teams in the American league and compiled an annual ranking of the best-positioned ones.

For the third consecutive year, Los Angeles FC holds the top spot, with a valuation of 1.25 billion dollars. The franchise reached this figure largely thanks to its 10-year naming rights deal with BMO for its stadium.

Surprisingly, Inter Miami CF of Lionel Messi is not in first place. Despite doubling its valuation in two years, it ranks second with 1.2 billion dollars. However, the "Herons" hold the record for annual revenue (180M), operating surplus (50M), and year-over-year growth (+17%).

The top 5 is completed by LA Galaxy, Atlanta United, and New York City, with economic values of 1000M, 975M, and 875M, respectively.

The data analyzed by Forbes for the ranking includes recent financial transactions, public information, and direct sources from franchise executives and owners.
