Neymar and an Innovation in Broadcasts: He Took the Field with a Camera on His Jersey
The Brazilian number 10 recorded footage during the match against Corinthians in the Campeonato Paulista.
The Paulista Football Federation authorized the initiative, allowing Neymar to film a first-person perspective of the pre-match team talk in the locker room, the walk through the tunnel, and even the captain’s coin toss. However, the camera had to be removed before kickoff.
The footage was recorded for Santos TV, the club’s audiovisual channel, and will be compiled into a mini-documentary for digital platforms.
