Marcelo becomes Oakley's new ambassador

Real Madrid's winger, Marcelo, was chosen by the Oakley lens brand as the new ambassador for the Brazilian audience. The company seeks to position itself in a new market with the image of some of the best players in the world and multi-champion with the Spanish team.

Oakley is a brand of glasses closely linked to high-risk disciplines such as skateboarding or surfing. However, the Brazilian charismatic lifestyle was fundamental when choosing a new regional ambassador for the company. From Oakley are convinced that "Marcelo has a lifestyle that is the face of the brand and will help in this new proposal."

Marcelo presents the new collection of glasses for the Brazilian market. "It's a new long-term project. We want to unite the optical and sports world and connect with the consumer who is passionate about sports and seeks technology, design and functionality. The world is changing. Brazil has a sports tradition and is one of those countries in which consumers want to change. We bet on that, "confessed Alessandro Zanardo, CEO of Luxottica, owner of the Oakley brand.
