The technical sponsors of the World Cup in France
The World Cup of France arrived. The Women's World Cup kicked off its eighth edition. Being France for the first time host of the contest, the twenty-four most important selections of the world begin their dream butler.
Analyzing the branch of Sports Marketing and the technical sponsors that are present in the World Cup, Nike imposes itself on its peers. The American company has more than half of the selections, since of the twenty-four teams, fourteen will wear the logo of the "pipe". France, South Korea, Norway, Nigeria, China, South Africa, Australia, Brazil, England, Canada, New Zealand, the Netherlands, the United States and Chile are the company's teams.
Behind Nike, Adidas follows in his footsteps. The German brand is present with Germany, Spain, Argentina, Japan, Scotland and Sweden. Just the European teams will wear a special model, totally different from its male counterpart.
The remaining four selections have four different brands. Italy is present with Puma, Jamaica with Umbro, Cameroon with Le Coq Sportif and Thailand with Warrix. The particular case is what the Asian team will experience, given that its technical sponsor (also of the same nationality) will debut in a FIFA World Cup.
