FIFA published the transfer market figures: record number of transfers and transfer costs
The 4,387 transfers registered by FIFA in the last men's transfer market constitute a new record and exceed the 3,834 in the January 2022 window. The Premier League was the origin of most of the 1,570 million dollars invested by the clubs, since 898.6 million came from there. In second place was the French Ligue 1 with 131.9 million, almost the same as Chelsea spent on the purchase of Enzo Fernández.
Women's soccer also showed record numbers, with 341 international signings totaling $774,300. The Colombian league was the one that incorporated the most players (35), while the United States and Sweden were the countries from which the most soccer players emigrated (26 from each league).
