The Story Behind Spreen’s Debut Boots
Collectors Marcelo G. de Wilde and Gonzalo Rodríguez, along with designer FlashxDesign, came up with the idea to surprise the renowned Argentine streamer for his debut as a footballer in the Professional League.
Since the design isn’t sponsored by any brand, it features a completely black base, with the Speed logo on the sides (the main sponsor of Deportivo Riestra and Spreen). It also includes the streamer’s personal logo and the number he’ll wear on his jersey.
“The idea came up when we saw him; we wanted to find an opportunity to be present. We often see national team players with exclusive boots. Since having a streamer play is something unique, we wanted to do something different with this,” added Marcelo G. de Wilde.
