Laboratorio Zoigen joins Independiente
Professional football has evolved to such an extent that small details can mean great sporting results. From the use of gps to measure performance, to ultra lightweight and self-absorbing apparel, first-class clubs do not leave any details when shooting.
Under this concept and being one of the independent clubs that works more on extra-soccer details, the Zoigen Laboratory signs a collaboration agreement with the institution. The medical center will be responsible for carrying out genetic studies to all players of the professional team, analyzing different items related to the response to food intake; sports dexterity and predisposition to injuries and illnesses.
This alliance positions Independiente as one of the few clubs worldwide that will have genetic data of its players. Being details that can influence the performance of the players, the Zoigen Laboratory will bring a new grain to the preparation of the club facing their sporting challenges.
