UEFA and CONMEBOL Join Forces in a Campaign to Promote CPR
The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) is teaming up with the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) to offer an online course on CPR techniques and how to save lives in emergency situations.
European footballers such as Gareth Bale, Erling Haaland, Rio Ferdinand, Thierry Henry, among others, participate in the "training." Additionally, with the recent addition of Lautaro Martínez, CONMEBOL has joined the campaign to promote it on social media alongside UEFA.
The training is conducted on the website get-trained.com, where an interactive interface allows players to explain to users how to perform life-saving maneuvers and what to do in such situations.
