The NFL is coming to Spain for the first time
The American football league announced that the first game of the 2025 regular season will be played at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
It has been confirmed that the home team will be the Miami Dolphins, while the game date and their opponent will be revealed when the NFL schedule is released between April and May.
For hosting the event, Real Madrid will receive €100 million for renting out its stadium.
Since 2007, it has been a tradition for the NFL to host games outside the United States, with a total of 55 international games held so far. This marks the first time the event will take place in Madrid, following previous games in cities such as London, Munich, Mexico City, and São Paulo.
