According to the Brazilian media outlet O Globo, the Dutch forward has earned nearly four million dollars solely in prize money.
After being crowned champion of the Copa do Brasil by scoring the winning goal in the final, Memphis received a bonus of $848,000, which is added to the $2 million from the Campeonato Paulista and another $1.1 million for having played in 70% of the matches during his first year under contract.
The total figure in bonuses amounts to $3.95 million, in addition to his $500,000 monthly salary and another 3 million euros in signing bonuses, divided into three payments, two of which have already been executed.
