Puma and LaLiga present the new official ball
After a hegemony of several years with Nike, LaLiga signs a long-term contract with Puma to become official sponsor of the first and second football divisions in Spain. In full recess of the competition, they present together the new official ball for the 2019/20 season with great news. With a thermosealed structure of 18 panels, the model presents a perfect sphericity which guarantees a better stability, soft touch and reduced water absorption. The larger panels allow a better connection with the ball.
One of the novelties is located in its 1mm Hi-Solid Dimple PU (San Fang) housing, which improves aerodynamics and also its high resistance to abrasion and wear, which means greater durability and a high level of performance. The structure of this advanced design is similar to that of a golf ball to ensure a straight flight and greater firing consistency. Also, the incorporation of an additional foam layer POE improves the touch by increasing the sensitivity, which results in a firm touch and an improved rebound consistency.
As for the colors of its design, PUMA has opted for a daring combination with green tones, which offer greater visibility of the turn and trajectory, as well as speed. An attractive green Glimmer on white combined with NRGY Red of the Puma logo to stand out on the lawn and on the flight. In addition, for the first time, the ball includes the 'beat' of LaLiga, one of the visual identity signs of the organization, which will be integrated into the ball with the PUMA logo.
