Nike will outfit the Uruguayan national team
The Uruguayan Football Association (AUF) announced the American brand as the technical sponsor for the national teams for the next four years.
In December of last year, AUF’s contract with Puma, which provided apparel for the national team from 2007 to 2023, came to an end.
It’s worth noting that the U-23 Pre-Olympic tournament and the March friendlies were played with generic kits, and for the 2024 Copa América, La Celeste purchased Nike apparel.
Once the continental tournament ended, Nike, Adidas, Kelme, and Puma were the four companies that submitted bids to outfit the national teams.
