FIFA announces an agreement with Globant as a worldwide developer of FIFA+ and a partner in several tournaments
FIFA has reached a multi-year deal with Globant to fuel the growth of its FIFA+ streaming platform and support its flagship competitions, such as the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. With a workforce of 25,900 and offices in 20 countries, will be in charge, among other tasks, of creating new functions and experiences for FIFA+ users, as well as collaborating in the distribution of the platform.
It will also be a continental sponsor in North America and Europe of this year's FIFA World Cup, FIFA Women's World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023. In addition, the company will be a global sponsor of the FIFAe Series for three years, and promoter of the U-17 and U-20 Women's World Cup tournaments of the next editions.
