Liverpool will have free track to renegotiate its contract with Nike

Several weeks ago Liverpool and New Balance are in dispute over the possible disengagement between both parties. Liverpool wants to negotiate with other companies, while NB sought renewal at the end of the current season. This case came to justice in London and the High Court ruled in favor of the last UEFA Champions League champion.

New Balance claimed the right to execute automatic renewal, however Nike appeared in this story. The North American company offered a contract surpassing the English team. The offer and marketing proposal of Nike was the only way to cancel the automatic renewal that New Balance intended.

From the decision of the English justice, Liverpool has a free way to negotiate with Nike the new technical sponsorship contract, which would be the most important in the history of the current European champion. The red outfit will stop dressing the Boston-born brand after six seasons.
