Birgmingham launches the new Peaky Blinders style shirt

They were in the 20s and the city of Birmingham was plagued by gangsters who settled in the city to dominate the streets after the cold war. Peaky Blinders was a criminal gang that was known for sewing razor blades on their caps. Many years later and thanks to the overproduction of the BBC, this band would become a famous series that would dazzle the whole world. On the occasion of the success of this series, Birgmingham City FC and adidas launched the new clothing for the next season with a very particular campaign and goes back to those dark years of the British city.

Dressed in period, with beret, bun and above all, the footballs of the English team go through the streets of Small Heath, a traditional neighborhood where the series takes place in those years. When they all meet, a ball of touch appears that makes them travel through time and get dressed what they are: professional football players.

"In 1875, our famous club, known as The City Club, was born in the working classes, deep in the industrial revolution, the city had become the backbone of British manufacturing, which was extended with terraced houses for the growing workforce - from pubs to workshops and factories, Birmingham FC is proud to be a part of the lives of the residents of our city for 144 years, "the club said in its statement.
