Almost two million fans from all over the world enjoy the FIFA Fan Festival in Doha

With the World Cup in Qatar already over, the FIFA Fan Festival had more than 1,800,000 fans who came to Al Bidda Park in Qatar where they had the chance to enjoy the broadcast of the World Cup matches and the shows by various international musical artists such as Diplo, Maluma, Kizz Daniel, Nora Fatehi, Trinidad Cardona and Calvin Harris.

 

“After years of hard work, it has been a joy to see so many people who also share their enthusiasm for football from all over the world come together to celebrate the FIFA Fan Festival. Building bridges between East and West is an important part of the legacy of hosting the first World Cup in the Middle East and the Arab world, and the FIFA Fan Festival has played an important role in this process," said Mead al Emadi, director of the festival and the Supreme Committee of Organization and Legacy.

 

Gerdine Lindhout, Director of Experiential Marketing and Promotion for the global football regulator added: “The FIFA Fan Festival has proven to be the lifeblood of the tournament, bringing together millions of fans from all corners of the planet to share and express his passion for the king of sports. It was the perfect party to complement the greatest spectacle on the planet: the FIFA World Cup”.
