The South American national teams with the highest market value
At Marca en Zona, we analyzed Transfermarkt data to determine the squad values of each country in these CONMEBOL qualifiers.
Argentina and Brazil face off, and it won’t just be another chapter in their historic South American rivalry—it will also be a clash between the two most valuable squads in CONMEBOL. The "Verdeamarela" fielded a team worth over €700 million in the previous matchday, while the two-time Copa América champions played with a starting XI valued at €423 million.
Just below them are Uruguay and Colombia, with squad values of €344 million and €208.7 million, respectively.
Vinícius Júnior is Brazil’s most valuable player at €200 million—more than the total market value of any other South American national team. The closest is Ecuador at €188.3 million, while none of the remaining five teams (Paraguay, Chile, Peru, Venezuela, and Bolivia) reach the €100 million mark.
