Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos purchase a club in Brazil

The World Cup champions acquired a stake in Internacional de Limeira, a São Paulo-based club competing in Serie C.

Alongside two other investment partners from the Middle East and Africa, the Brazilian national team legends landed at one of the country's oldest clubs with the goal of returning it to the top flight.

Founded in 1913, Inter de Limeira experienced its glory years in the 1970s, when they spent seven seasons competing in the Brasileirão Serie A.

Ronaldo Nazário already brings prior sports management experience: in 2018, he took control of Spain's Real Valladolid until 2025, and from 2021 to 2024, he was the majority owner of Cruzeiro in his native country.
