DirecTV repeats its successful #GolesDIRECTV campaign

With the commitment to promote the development of inclusive sports throughout the region, DIRECTV will repeat its successful # GolesDIRECTV campaign, where it will donate 100 USD to the confederation that develops sports adapted for people whose pathologies have to use a motorized wheelchair to Play soccer. American Powerchair Football Confederation (APFC) will use the accumulated money to continue developing more venues across the continent. Currently it includes Canada, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.

Numerous studies highlight the positive impact of sport on the quality of life of those who are part of Powerchair. Among some conclusions it is noted that athletes decreased by 29% the number of hours of virtual entertainment, having the opportunity to replace it with physical entertainment. 45% of the athletes increased their physical activity when they started practicing Powerchair Football. And they all agree: everyone increased their desire to excel in their daily lives by starting to practice it.
