New Balance launches its new animated campaign
"A samurai can not fight without his sword. The same goes for the runners and their shoes "Hitoshi Mimura, legendary Master Craftsman of footwear. So it was the global post of New Balance to present his new campaign "The Greatest Race" (The Great Race), a futuristic anime represented by the Japanese runner Daichi Kamino. This athlete is the face of the brand throughout Asia and under the concept of the new campaign, it becomes a fundamental pillar on a global level thanks to its great times (full marathon 2: 10'18 "). In this opportunity, Daichi will have the most difficult career of his life to save Japan from an extraterrestrial invasion.
In order to win the race, the protagonist submerges himself in different towns in Japan to meet Hitoshi Mimura, master footwear maker who will change the history of Daichi. This person is recognized in the world for being an expert in creating exclusive sports shoes for top level athletes in Japan. In his process, almost handmade, he takes into account 13 measures of the foot for the creation of each pair and makes them by hand, since he considers that it is the only method in which he has total confidence. On this occasion, and after working for several years with adidas, Hitoshi joins New Balance to create the specific footwear of a highly competitive rider.
