Mercado Libre expands its F1 presence with Checo Pérez

The e-commerce giant has become a personal sponsor of the Mexican driver following his move to the newly debuted Cadillac F1 Team.

The launch campaign features the "Checoneta"—a Mercado Libre delivery van transformed into a high-performance race car—symbolizing the shared values of speed and efficiency between the brand and the driver.

The company’s logo will be featured on Pérez's helmet throughout the 2026 season. Notably, Mercado Libre is acting as a personal sponsor for the driver rather than a technical sponsor for the Cadillac team itself.

With this move, Checo joins Franco Colapinto (Alpine), who has been a brand ambassador since 2024, and Gabriel Bortoleto (Audi/Sauber), who became the face of the brand in Brazil earlier this year, solidifying Mercado Libre's strategy of supporting top Latin American talent in Formula 1.
