Adidas signs Vozinha as a brand ambassador
Amid his stint with Colo-Colo, the Cape Verdean goalkeeper has officially become the new face of the German sportswear giant.
The agreement was formally announced via Adidas Chile's Instagram account, featuring a video in which the 40-year-old shot-stopper reflects on his journey outside elite European football and his recent rise to global stardom.
Rumors surrounding Vozinha's potential deal with Adidas had been circulating since his arrival at Colo-Colo in August, after he landed in Chile dressed in three-stripes apparel and trained repeatedly wearing Predator boots and gloves. Additionally, Adidas has served as El Cacique's technical sponsor since 2021.
With this endorsement, Vozinha moves on from two distinct technical suppliers that equipped him in recent seasons, including his standout performances during the 2026 World Cup. His boots were previously provided by Senda Athletics—the brand founded by Argentine entrepreneur Santiago Halty—while his goalkeeping gloves were supplied by Elite Sport.
