Mastercard activated its sponsorship in the Final of CONMEBOL Libertadores
The Maracana stadium in the city of Rio de Janeiro hosted the CONMEBOL Libertadores Single Final between Santos and Palmeiras. With only 5% of the stadium's total capacity, divided into different stalls and with the necessary health protocols, the closing of a contest delayed by the Pandemic was held.
Mastercard, official sponsor of the contest, activated its sponsorship in a particular way, imitating the good deed done months ago in the Champions League Final. Through a Totem mounted in the hallway at the entrance to the stadium, six children from the ZR11 Foundation had the opportunity to experience a moment “That has no price”. Through mobile devices, they were able to greet and give their encouragement to the players who came to the Maracana to play the long-awaited Final.
