Independiente announced its partnership with Sportsbet
The betting company has become the new main sponsor of "El Rojo" and will appear on the front of the jersey throughout 2025.
With this move, Independiente ends its partnership with Jeluz to join the list of Argentine clubs sponsored by online gambling companies, which includes Boca Juniors, River Plate, Racing Club, Rosario Central, and Newell's Old Boys.
This figure represents 21% (6/28) of the teams in the Liga Profesional, including four of the so-called "Big 5." Additionally, Vélez Sarsfield and Estudiantes de La Plata previously shared sponsors in this category.
