Aeroflot will be the official airline of the 2019 Basketball World Cup

The Russian airline Aeroflot will be present at the next Basketball World Cup, which will be held in China from August 31. The FIBA confirmed to a new sponsor that it would occupy the role of official airline of the competition.

This agreement will allow Aeroflor presence in all the matches in the eight venues that will house the best selections. The Russian company will give a unique experience to the fans taking the trophy to all parts of the world in the pre-season of the great event of the world basketball. Aeroflot is a company founded in 1923 and currently reaches 159 destinations in 54 countries.

"We believe that our partnership with the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 will have a positive impact on the recognition of the Aeroflot brand and will further strengthen our position in one of our key markets, China, where this year's competition is held." commented Andrey Panov, CEO of the company.

With this new association, Aeroflot joins the list of sponsors integrated by Molten, Nike, TCL, Tissot and Wanda.
