The Verdao finalized the transfer of Vitor Reis to Manchester City for €35 million, bringing their total to €160 million when adding Endrick (Real Madrid, €60M) and Estêvão (Chelsea, €65M).

This figure surpasses the revenue generated by Boca Juniors and River Plate through player sales over the last two years. Boca collected €72.6M, highlighted by the transfers of Valentín Barco, Ezequiel Fernández, and Alan Varela. Meanwhile, “El Millonario” earned €70.22M, with key sales including Claudio Echeverri, Nicolás De La Cruz, Esequiel Barco, and Lucas Beltrán. Combined, the two clubs brought in €142.82M—almost €20M less than Palmeiras achieved with just three players.
