LaLiga and Movistar started their business relationship
LaLiga continues to consolidate as one of the most important tournaments worldwide. In the hands of star figures like Lionel Messi or Eden Hazard, the Spanish event continues with its globalization strategy, to hoard fans around the world.
This globalization allows you to expand your “brand” presence and attract new sponsors. Such is the case of Movistar, which since this season became a sponsor of LaLiga. By signing an agreement that will unite them for the next three years, the company and the Spanish event presented their link in the flagship store of Madrid that the telecommunications company has.
With the presence of executives from Movistar and LaLiga, the presentation was not only the beginning of the link, but also the presentation of the “Movistar LaLiga Area”. This concept will allow fans to meet their idols, take pictures with the trophy, see the game ball in person or other virtual reality activities.
This concept will be itinerant, and will cover 26 Spanish cities. Installing in Movistar premises that are in the localities, more than 1000 square meters in total will have the “Movistar LaLiga Area”. First it will only be in Spain, but the experience could become an international action, since the telecommunications company has a presence in more than fifteen countries.
