Formula 1 will create its own betting site
With the aim of curbing attempts to manipulate sports betting results, Liberty Media (Commercial Manager of Formula 1) decided to create its own website to take control of bets. Thanks to an agreement with the companies Sportradar and Interregional Sports Group (ISG), next year fans of the category will be able to make their palpitos with a special intelligence service to be the most transparent platform in the market. "Formula 1 has a large community of fans around the world and is unrivaled for the television audience; the potential during the pre-race moments and during the races is huge," said Tony Ragan, CEO of ISG.
The platform will use historical Formula 1 data to offer up to 30 different betting packages, ranging from the basic podium assumption and team positions to more complex data, such as driver overtaking and lap times.
