Dazn acquires the Copa América rights for Spain
The online transmission platform Dazn acquired the rights to the Copa América for all of Spain. The competition, which will take place in Brazil between June 14 and July 7, will be seen in the European country through the services provided by this company.
Dazn will retransmit the 26 matches that will be played in Brazilian lands in search of the continental title organized by Conmebol. This purchase of the digital platform is valued at approximately 1.5 million euros. Previously, Movistar + was the company that had the audiovisual rights of the Copa América in Spain.
This English company was born in 2015 and, step by step, is managing to keep the transmission rights of the most important leagues and tournaments in the world. LaLiga Santander and the UEFA Champions League are rebroadcast by this platform, which a few weeks ago signed an agreement with the Premier League for the next three seasons for 19 million euros per year.
