Club América pays homage to the Chanfle with an orange shirt

In 1979, Roberto Gómez Bolaños, better known as Chespirito, plays a character on the big screen that would be remembered over the years, El Chanfle. Said character was a member of Club América, with a sporting spirit and love of colors that he dreamed of having a soccer child. 40 years after the premiere of the film, the Mexican band together with Nike pay tribute to the historic character who brought more than a smile to the audience with an orange shirt, the color of a diver that the protagonist used. The debut of the curious jersey will be on date three of the Mx League, when America debuts as a local receiving Pachuca at the Azteca stadium.

The release of the shirt has brought controversy in social networks, both for its color and for the tribute to a beloved Mexican actor but who also has opponents of his humor. To support this launch, Mateus Uribe (referring to the team) said: "I have always been an admirer of Chespirito, in South America it is an icon. I feel very proud to be able to pay tribute to him with this shirt ".
