The sponsors behind the King's League, the football league created by Gerard Piqué

Last Sunday, 92,522 people attended the Final Four of the King's League at the Spotify Camp Nou, thus surpassing, for example, the number of attendees at the World Cup final last December at Lusail in Qatar.

The success of the competition in terms of audience levels was also reflected in the number of companies that joined as sponsors of both the league and each club. If we list those that accompany the league, we can find Adidas, Mahou, Mc delivery, Xiaomi, Shukran, Imagin, Iqoption, El Pozo King, Clinica Baviera, Curubito, Floki.com, Grefusa, Spotify and Simyo, the latter being the which sponsored the Final Four MVP award played on Sunday.

As for the teams that made up the championship, many of them also had one or two of their own sponsors. Of the 12 presidents, 5 have a great difference in the number of followers towards the rest (and also among themselves). Kun Agüero and Iker Casillas head this list, with 29.9 million followers and 19.6 million, respectively, followed by Ibai Llanos, with 9.2 million. In fourth and fifth place appear The Grefg and Juan Guarnizo, with 7.7 and 7 million, and at that point there is a break, since the sixth president with the largest number of followers is DJ Mariio, with 3 and a half million.

Although we could infer that the number of followers and sponsors would be proportional, we note, to cite an example, that while Ultimate Móstoles (DJ Mariio's team) has Kit Kat and Kaiku Café Latte, Juan Guarnizo's Aniquiladores do not have any sponsor of their own. despite the fact that its president has twice as many followers as the previous one. In any case, of the 12 participating clubs, only 3 do not have any brand on their kit outside of Infojobs and Xiaomi, present on all the shirts as they are the main sponsors of the tournament.

The 9 teams that do display logos on their sleeves and in match and score announcement posts are Kunisports (GoMate and Khosmium); 1K FC (Dulcesol); Swine FC (Aquaservice); Saiyans FC (Chollometro and Maggi); Ultimate Mostoles (Kit Kat and Kaiku Cafe Latte), XBuyer Team (Nesquik); Trunks FC (Bifrutas); Barcelona Lightning (JD Sports); and Jijantes FC (Estrella Damm).

Curiously, the team that was crowned champion was El Barrio, which does not have any individual sponsorship and has the president with the second fewest followers in the entire league, Adri Contreras, who is followed by 435,000 users.

Following the success of the competition, Gerard Piqué has already announced that the transfer period between clubs will take place in April and the second edition of the tournament will begin on May 7, one day after the kick-off of the Queen's League, the female version that will be held for the first time.
