Brahma, new sponsor of the Copa América Brazil 2019
The beer brand belonging to the Ambev group reinforces its position in the neighboring country and is associated with CONMEBOL to sponsor the continental selection of selections
In the preliminary draw of the groups, Brahma announced an agreement with CONMEBOL to be a sponsor of the Copa América 2019 to be carried out in the Brazilian territory. In the statement sent to the press, the brand said that he will do a series of actions with the fans during the tournament, inside and outside the stadiums that will receive the matches. Brahma, a member of the Ambev group, is currently the official sponsor of the Brazilian football team and will take advantage of the continental contest to strengthen their position in the country and to become definitely the official beer of soccer.
Thanks to this agreement, Brahma becomes the second brand of beer that has a sponsorship agreement with the Conmebol, since the confederation maintains another contract, closed for the Libertadores Cup, with the largest competitor of Ambev, Heineken. The Dutch company uses Amstel's brand to activate the South American club tournament throughout the continent.
