A Colombian team took its jersey to space

In partnership with TaDa, Inter Bogotá propelled its jersey 30,000 meters into the stratosphere.

The club was founded in December 2025, rebranding the historic Club La Equidad. To symbolize the rise of this new sporting project, they decided to attach the jersey to a high-altitude balloon equipped with cameras and GPS.

In a short time, the new team secured sponsors such as Umbro, BetPlay, Powerade, and TaDá. The latter, a beverage delivery app, participated in the spatial activation by transporting the jersey to the stadium to be launched.

Although the club claimed otherwise, this is not the first time a South American club has carried out such an action, as Sao Paulo FC did the same in 2013 to present a new kit.

Other instances of a football jersey being sent to space include AS Roma in 2017, which sent Francesco Totti's final "10" on a rocket from French Guiana; or Rayados de Monterrey, which did so in 2025 to celebrate its participation in the Club World Cup.
