Torino presented the Fujin10 Limited Edition jersey to celebrate 10 years of partnership with Suzuki
Torino has presented the Fujin10 Limited Edition. The club decided to celebrate ten years of collaboration with Suzuki by creating a shirt with details alluding to Japan, a tribute to the culture of the company's country of origin. The design was carried out by the head of the Suzuki Design Center Suzuki in Turin, Kimihiko Nakada, who was inspired by the famous Japanese artwork "Fujin Raijin Zu", which portrays the god of thunder, the "Raijin", the one who makes roar the sky with the sound of the drum, and the god of lightning, the "Fujin". who controls the wind and clouds, carrying them in a bag. The two deities were also seen in ancient times as saviors of Japan, creators of the storms that made the invaders' attacks fail several times.
“I think it is an innovative shirt. Thanks to Suzuki we have machines available to take the kids and explore Europe. We want to build something for a better future because Torino deserves an increasingly better future," said Davide Vagnat, the club's sports director, at the presentation.
Suzuki Italia President Massimo Nalli said: “Suzuki sees in Torino a team that stands out for its history, support and management. Torino gives us the honor of making a special jersey to be used against Bologna. I also appreciate the other sponsors who changed their brand color to support our design.”
Finally, the Joma Italia coach, Mirko Annibale, concluded: “It is a unique and innovative kit, with a style that follows Japanese culture. Whoever buys it will have the same shirt as the players on the pitch”.
