Samsung launched a special smartphone for the Winter Olympics

The company activated its sponsorship of the event by providing exclusive devices to nearly 3,800 athletes competing in Milano Cortina 2026.

The "Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition" features a personalized design in "Italian Azure" blue with a gold metal frame and the competition logos on the back. To ensure connectivity for all competitors, the phone is equipped with a 5G eSIM pre-loaded with 100GB of data.

The device will be part of the "Victory Selfie" activation on the podiums, making its Winter Olympics debut. This allows medalists to capture and share their own perspective of the award ceremony directly from the podium.

Samsung has been a Worldwide Olympic Partner since 1998 and recently extended its commitment through Los Angeles 2028. The tradition of providing Olympic Edition phones to every athlete began at the Sochi 2014 Winter Games.
