The unique feature of the Man of the Match award at the Club World Cup

The "Superior Player of the Match" is awarded by Michelob Ultra beer, but several footballers receive it without branding for various reasons.

The first reason is the legal drinking/promotion age in the U.S.: players like Franco Mastantuono, Kenan Yıldız, and Jobe Bellingham are under 21, so they receive the award without the sponsor.

 The other explanation relates to religious reasons: Muslim players cannot consume alcohol. FIFA respects the beliefs of Achraf Hakimi, İlkay Gündoğan, and Bono, among others, and also awards them without the beer branding.

 The trophy these players receive is the same as the others, just without the Michelob Ultra logo, which is also omitted from social media posts. However, it’s still called "Superior," referencing the beer brand’s "Superior Light Beer" description and all the marketing behind that word.
