The French league sells its naming rigths to Uber Eats
Ligue 1 has become one of the most important tournaments worldwide. At the global level, the exhibition's logo and the figures that make up the team (Neymar Jr. Kyliam Mbappé, Edinson Cavani, among others) globally, the logo of the event has a presence in different markets.
This exhibition allows the Liga de Fútbol Profesional (LFP) to look for more important sponsorships, both at the brand level and at the economic level. Such is the case that from the season 2020/21 will change its name and will go from being called "Ligue 1 Conforama" to "Ligue 1 Uber Eats".
The delivery platform of the Travel App comes to an important sponsorship agreement to settle in the European market. With many of its users in the United States, Uber Eats seeks to expand its market and bets to link with the French contest to gain loyalty with fans.
The link will be for two seasons and according to the French media, Uber Eats disbursed 32 million euros. This amount will be much greater than that paid for by Conforama, given that the chain of stores allocated € 7 million per year.
