Premier League clubs have agreed to remove bookmaker ads from the front of their shirts

According to the English league statement, the decision responds to a consultation that involved the clubs and the country's Department of Culture, Media and Sports, since the Government is reviewing the current legislation on gambling.

The sites and bookmakers may not be the main sponsor of the shirt but they will have the possibility of occupying a place on the sleeves or back of the uniforms of each team. Clubs will have time for this transition, as the resolution will come into effect at the end of the 25/26 season.

The 'Classic Football Shirts' website analyzes the main sponsor of each club every season and, this season, 8 of the 20 Premier League teams have a bookmaker on the front of their shirt.
