Oppo will be a premium sponsor of Roland Garros

The smartphone manufacturer Oppo will sponsor Roland Garros for the first time, starting on May 26. The French Tennis Federation signed a three-year contract with this Asian company that will also sponsor the Master 1000 de Paris.

Oppo is the first Asian sponsor of the Grand Slam, which is held in the French capital. The Chinese brand is back to bet on tennis after signing a similar agreement with another historic tournament such as Wimbledon. The company will support the tournaments as a "Premium" sponsor. This partnership will allow both parties to promote tennis in the Asian country. Oppo will seek to position itself in the European market, while Roland Garros will try to attract a new audience in Chinese territory.
