Nike dominates the ideal team of the Premier League

Nike dominates the ideal team of the Premier League

Although we still do not know the champion, the leaders of the English Professional Footballers Association made known what were (for them) the best eleven players in the Premier League 2018/19. One of the highlights is the inclusion of most players from Liverpool and Manchester City (the teams that fight for the league) and only one of Manchester United. But when it comes to sports marketing, we can highlight the predominance of Nike ambassadors within the Ideal Eleven.

The goalkeeper Ederson Moraes, the defenders Virgil Van Dijk and Andrew Robertson, the midfielder Fernandinho and the striker Raheem Sterling are the players sponsored by the North American multinational that stand out in the team. As usual, adidas follows him on the podium with three ambassadors: Aymeric Laporte, Paul Pogba and Bernardo Silva. The remaining three players are split between New Balance (Sadio Mané); Under Armor (Trent Alexander-Arnold) and Puma (Sergio Agüero).

Eleven Ideal:

Goalkeeper: Ederson Moraes (Nike).

Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Under Armor), Aymeric Laporte (adidas), Virgil Van Dijk (Nike), Andrew Robertson (Nike)

Midfielders: Paul Pogba (adidas), Bernardo Silva (adidas), Fernandinho (Nike)
