Nike and Adidas tributes to the Ballon d’Or winners
Following the ceremony that honored the world’s best footballers, the brands quickly congratulated their ambassadors.
The men’s Ballon d’Or went to Spain’s Rodri Hernández, whom Nike honored with the message, “Winning is the only position I know.”
Meanwhile, Adidas posted a celebration for Aitana Bonmatí, Lamine Yamal, and Emiliano Martínez, winners of Best Female Player, Best Young Player (Kopa Trophy), and Best Goalkeeper (Yashin Trophy), respectively. The brand also unveiled special golden boots for Aitana to commemorate her second consecutive Ballon d’Or.
