Javier Zanetti stars in the IDB Group's "Development World Cup"
The Inter Milan vice-president took part in the launch campaign for the Inter-American Development Bank's annual competition.
"Superheroes of Development" is an IDB initiative that recognizes clients and executing agencies of bank-funded projects across Latin America. For the 2026 edition, the group has adopted a football theme, branding it the "Development World Cup."
In the promotional video, Zanetti invites contestants to enter the competition, ahead of an awards ceremony in Washington D.C. this October. The legendary footballer will feature as a special guest at the event, delivering a keynote on leadership and high performance.
