Inter Miami CF announces Heineken as first official partner
Unlike our country and some neighbors in South America, in football in the United States a project can be carried out even without having a professional team. With only two reinforcements, Inter Miami CF works to form a team that will debut next season in the MLS and from the outset, be protagonists. Continuing their project, the directors of the David Beckham franchise closed the first Founding Partner through a multi-year agreement. Heineken became the official beer of Inter, and its agreement will include signage, intellectual property rights and retail activations, as the brand works closely with the club to continue improving the fan experience in South Florida.
"After much anticipation and enthusiasm about the return of MLS to South Florida, we are delighted to be the first official partner of Inter Miami CF, and we hope to celebrate many future firsts together ... We are known worldwide as a brand of Dedicated football, and through this partnership, we are eager to provide football fans in South Florida with the experience and premium beer they expect from Heineken in the coming years. ”said Jonnie Cahill, Marketing Director of Heineken.
Inter Miami CF was confirmed as the 25th MLS franchise in January 2018 and will launch its inaugural season in 2020 at the Fort Lauderdale Lockhart site, before moving to its permanent home in Miami. Heineken will join the team to celebrate a series of firsts before and during the inaugural MLS season, which begins in March 2020.
