They will play the final of the continental tournament on November 29, with $24 million in prize money at stake. At the same time, they are tied on points with six rounds remaining in the Brazilian league, which awards $10 million to the champion.
In total, if a team wins both tournaments, it will receive $34 million — an amount higher than the UEFA Champions League final prize (€25 million) and 68 times greater than that of the Argentine league champion ($500,000).
