FIFA Fan Festival hosted more than 1,000,000 fans

After its opening on November 19 for all soccer fans from all over the world, the FIFA Fan Fest in Al Bidda Park achieved the important figure of more than 1,000,000 visitors. To celebrate the million visitors to the venue, the institution that governs soccer federations around the globe gave away two tickets to the World Cup final at the Lusail Stadium on Sunday 18 December.

Haytham Mokhtar, a football fan, is the millionth fan of the festival and also the winner of the award, as well as an official ball signed by football legends Cafu and Ronald de Boer: “I still can't believe that I am lucky to be the millionth guest at the FIFA Fan Festival. My friend Sara and I would come here to have a good time and soon after I was on the main stage in front of thousands of people with a soccer ball signed by Cafu and Ronald de Boer, and with tickets to the final,” Haytham said.
